Offers are not one price field. Workhorizen prices every booking as base service, travel, urgency, materials estimate, a 3% risk buffer and a 12% platform fee — down to the provider's net payout.

One transparent fee, no subscription
Records authorizations, fees, refunds, dispute holds and releases in ledger entries — every booking's money movement is auditable end to end.
The platform fee is 12% of the job subtotal (base price + travel + urgency + materials, minus any discount) plus the risk buffer. It is deducted from the provider's payout, never charged as a separate line to the customer.
A 3% buffer held against the booking to cover disputes, cancellations and chargebacks. It is included in the customer's total price and released back into the payout calculation once a booking completes without a dispute.
No. Posting a request, browsing providers, and sending or receiving offers are all free. The platform fee only applies to completed, paid bookings.
Once a booking is marked complete and the dispute window closes, the net payout (total minus the platform fee) is released to the provider.
